Turbosmart’s Project Circuit Racer made its Time Attack debut at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway last weekend. Sporting a new war paint and competing in the Open Class, the Series 4 RX7 shaved more than three seconds off its previous lap time.
“We’re thrilled with the car’s performance,” said Nic Cooper, Turbosmart’s CEO, “the team has worked very hard and it was great to see the lap times improve steadily throughout the event.”
“This project car shows the flexibility of our products. They’ve already proved themselves on a drag strip, now we can see they are also quite capable of handling the demands of circuit racing – especially the high-boost and big horsepower environment of the Time Attack racing.”
