INTERNATIONAL Ainil Johani Abu Bakar, after a dismal performance in the Malaysian Amateur Open Golf championships, is eager to do well in the Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS) — Mazda Ladies Amateur Open golf championships from June 8 to 10.

The 20-year-old Ainil Johani, who is the defending champion, said the championships would also be an ideal warm-up session for her before the Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Malacca from June 10 to 19.
Ainil Johani: I hope my luck will be better in the KGNS Open.

“I did not play well in the Malaysian Amateur Open and I hope my luck will be better in the KGNS Open. It will be motivating as I am also determined to give a good account in the Sukma,” she said after a sponsorship ceremony recently.

“They have also offered a Mazda 3 Sport worth RM130,000 as a hole-in-one prize as well as RM50,000 cash. We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with Mazda,” said Rosmimee.
